Knives Out is a fantastic murder mystery that will leave you guessing until the very end; however, violence, language, drugs, and other immoral behavior are not suited for most audiences. Critics consensus Knives Out sharpens old murder-mystery tropes with a keenly assembled suspense outing that makes brilliant use of writer-director Rian Johnson's stellar ensemble. It makes no sense to burn the laboratory, the corpse is not far. It makes no sense to dissuade Martha from returning the money. It makes no sense to blackmail Ransom, because there is no murder. It makes no sense to put different drugs in the same containers. It makes no sense to take fingerprints, because immediately everything will become clear. Knives out review common sense media Knives Out is just a really well told movie. For 2 hr., 10 min., this is finely paced and edited. Johnson really knows how to steer the story, especially the beginning and introduction to the facts of the case.

The LG Smart + TV's primary input mode is Pointer mode but all apps MUST also support 5-way mode. Developing functions that do not support the '5-way' input should be avoided. Post box letters crossword. The Moonstone library supports both Pointer mode and 5-way modes of LG remote control.

  • I bought a lg 42lb550v which comes with a magic remote. The remote was working fine for a few days but just a week later its sensor or the pointer stopped working. Everything else works just fine except for the pointer. I even tried reseting the remote but it didn't help. Somebody help me out.
  • Depending upon the model of your LG TV, the home screen may look different depending on the operating system platform. MAGIC remote controls have a trackball in its center and displays like a computer mouse's pointer on the TV screen. STANDARD remote controls are flat, and they do NOT display a movable pointer on the screen.
  • Steps to connect mouse and keyboard to LG Smart TV WebOS operating system 1. Connect the TV to the mouse + Connect TV with wired mouse: To connect the TV using a mouse, keyboard and wired mouse, you plug the USB end of the mouse cord into the USB port on the TV, then the mouse.
  • Have new LG TV with magic remote. Have Onyko Audio system with multiple inputs (Dish and computer) one output LG TV. My question is can I use the LG magic remote as a mouse when my computer (Win 10) is showing on the TV? Simply put Computer - Audio Receiver - TV. Also my computer (Intel NUC) has IR.
I have the 75SJ8570 with the Magic Remote AN-MR650A. Has anyone been able to setup the Magic Remote to work with a Fire TV? My Fire TV is the 2nd Generation 4K. I have my cable box working, Blu-Ray and soundbar. I cannot get the Magic Remote to work with my Fire TV.

  • @LG_JD, Wanted to check everything was working correctly?
  • Contrary to what the LG chat agents will tell you it works for me but you may need to sideload an app called Mouse Toggle on your Fire TV stick. If it stops working reboot your FireTV but otherwise it works just like an Amazon remote except for the home button and the one with the horizontal bars to the right of it. Also you may need to hit the back button when you first switch to that input if the remote tries to control the TV instead.
  • I used the method suggested by this fellow on YouTube. He's obviously doing it on an Android tv. But I am able to use the technique for lg webOS 3.0 and magic remote.

I did the firetv stick setup as shown in the video. When doing the magic remote setup, I followed the steps as listed below.
. Press the STB menu button on the magic remote. This will ask for you to setup the universal remote, select the Yes option.
. The next page will be the Device Connector menu. Here click on 'show all devices'.
Now I saw 10 options, instead of the previous 4. I selected the last option here - 'Other Box'.
Now you'd be asked to make the selection of the TV port your device is connected to. Mine is on HDMI 3. I simply selected the 'Done' button after that and I am now able to use the magic remote to control my fireTV dongle.

i have tried to get this to work (LG C9 and my Fire TV Stick 4K) and have not been able to. Everything else works with the LG Magic remote (Apple TV, Oppo Blu Ray player and even my Sony Soundbar. Anyone else get the Fire TV Stick 4K to work with their LG remote?
  • I just picked up a lg sm8600 49' and can't get magic remote to work with fire tv box 1rst edition please help amazon or fire tv is not listed in set-top box select.
  • i was able to get it to work for a few minutes and then it just stopped working for no apparent reason.
  • Zdenek: My experience in using the Magic Remote with my Fire Stick 4k is exactly as you describe:
    - Sometimes I have to hit the back button to witch to controlling the Firestick instead of the TV
    - Sometimes that doesn't work and I have to reboot the Firestick.
It's nice that the remote works at all, but annoying that it's not reliable and frustrating that LG doesn't seem to fix issues like this.
    I haven't installed Mouse Toggle.
  • I used the following link and did the instructions from MC44: https://www.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D54P00006zT0I7SAK/pair-lg-oled-tv-remote-with-fire-tv. Now works.
  • SS2020: Please post back if this works consistently for you over a week or so. I still haven't been able to figure out why mine requires a reboot of the FireTV Stick 4k from time to time, but it happens enough that it's not acceptable.
Rather than have my family go through the hassle of forcing the Fire TV Stick to power cycle when it stops working, I now just have it get power from one of the TV's USB ports and, as a result, it power cycles every time the TV is turned on. That adds a small start-up delay, but we find that to be better than the erratic disfunction that we were experiencing otherwise.
Notably, we don't have this frustration with any other devices that we control via the Magic Remote and CEC. (Our first-generation Chromecast, for example, always seems to work with no need to power cycle it.)
  • @SS2020 which magic remote do you have? I have the AN-MR19BA and it's not working. I set the device connector up as 'game console' and 'other box' and it doesn't work. Is yours still working?

Lg Tv Keyboard And Mouse

I recently picked up an 32LE5300 32' 120hz TV to use for gaming and the PC. My mouse lags on it though. I'm outputting the native 1080p resolution via VGA with Gaming mode enabled, but my cursor is still lagging a bit making it floaty.
Now, what's strange is that if I fire up Team Fortress 2 or Bioshock (both in 1080p), movement is snappy without any lag at all. Also, I've found that if I switch the input from the PC to my laptop connected over HDMI and back again, the lag disappears. If I turn the TV off and back on again, however; the lag returns until I swap inputs. Weird.
It's not a deal breaker, but it is pretty annoying and especially now that I know that the lag *can* disappear but won't unless I go through an (in my mind) unnecessary process. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks!
Things I've tried:
Switched from HDMI to VGA
Enabled TruMotion while connected via HDMI (grayed out via VGA)
Enabled Gaming mode
Switched input label to Gaming then PC
Changed the refresh in Catalyst Control Center
Things I will try soon:
Enable Gaming mode via HDMI
Swap my mouse
