Firefox Teams

Same issue in Firefox 78.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 10.15.5. Was working but now stopped. I did a bit of digging and found that the Firefox preferences for 'content type' 'msteams' which said use 'action' of 'Use Microsoft Teams (default)' with the Mac default Application icon in front of it. Sign in to Webex Teams for group chat, video calling, and sharing documents with your team. It's all backed by Cisco security and reliability. Firefox is now working for me. The only reason I can tell you what changes I made before the issue occurred is that the same message came up again now that Firefox is working and I know not to install it again. Sometimes I try to fix some issues and forget the pathway I took. Some browsers, such as Internet Explorer 11, Safari, and Firefox, support the Microsoft Teams web app but don't support some of the Teams calling and meeting features. To work around this limitation, the Teams web app lets users receive audio through a PSTN connection and lets them view presented content (screen share) at a reduced display rate.

I have firefox 78.0.1 64b on windows 10 installedI have teams of MS installedif you go the website of teams called by meeting invite - there is a possibility to start the teams standalone application. when requesting this in FF, it does not start teams - on the page is also indicated that FF is not supported for teams. if I do this in edge (I never use edge - just for test) this opens the applis there a setting that would prevent this ? can we configure this to allow starting an appl ?thanks for all update/helpbest regards, Guy
